Probate Law

In most cases, when a family member passes, and whether or not that family member had a last will and testament, the opening of an estate within the court system is required to dispose of and distribute that family member’s property to the other family members.

We have experience representing clients in many different probate situations.  Some of those situations include:

- Probating a Last Will and Testament;

- Contesting a Last Will and Testament or Probate of a deceased family member's estate;

- Collection of Small Estates under $100,000.00 in value; or

- Collection of Excess Proceeds from the Arkansas State Land Commissioner.

If you have a situation where the estate of a family member needs to be opened or administered, we would be glad to help through legal representation.  Please do not hesitate in contacting us, as many probate laws have set time limits on opening and completing estates.

We have also begun assisting heirs to an estate in collecting excess claim proceeds from the Arkansas State Land Commissioner that are the result of the deceased family member's land being sold
